We ask for only the personal details we need to deliver a canvas and look after you afterwards. This page explains what we collect, the services that help us, how long we keep it and the choices you have.

The short version

• We collect what an order needs: your name, email, delivery address and order details.
• Checkout runs on Shopify, and payments go through our payment processor.
• Our site uses the Meta pixel and cookies to measure and improve our advertising, and you can switch this off.
• We never sell or rent your personal information.

Who is responsible for your data

AOJ HK LIMITED, trading as Lumenwillow, is responsible for personal information collected through this website. You can reach us at info@lumenwillow.com.

Information we collect

Details you give us

When you order, we collect your name, email address, shipping and billing addresses, the canvases and sizes you choose, and any note you add. If you create an account, sign up for our emails or write to us, we keep your email address and the content of your messages.

Details collected automatically

When you visit, our platform and cookies record technical information such as your IP address, device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP, the pages you view and the way you arrived at the site. This helps the site run properly and shows us which pages people find useful.

Payment details

Card and wallet details are entered directly into the payment processor's secure checkout. We receive confirmation that you paid, along with limited details such as the card type and last four digits, but never the full card number.

How we use it

• To take payment, pack and ship your order, and send order and delivery updates
• To answer questions and handle returns, refunds and delivery problems
• To prevent fraud and keep the shop secure
• To send our newsletter, only if you have signed up
• To understand how the site is used and measure whether our ads are working
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

The services that help us

We share information only with the providers we need to run the shop, and only for the purposes above:

• Shopify hosts our store, checkout and order records.
• Our payment processor (such as Shopify Payments, PayPal or the provider behind the wallet you choose) handles your payment.
• Print and fulfilment partners and couriers receive the name, address and order details needed to make and deliver your canvas.
• Meta Platforms receives browsing and purchase events through the Meta pixel, which lets us measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show them to people likely to enjoy them.
• Our email service, if you subscribe, stores your address to send the newsletter.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of our customers.

Cookies and the Meta pixel

Some cookies are essential: they keep items in your bag and let checkout work. Others are for analytics and advertising, including the Meta pixel. Where the law requires, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You can change your choices at any time through your browser settings or the steps on our Your Privacy Choices page.

Keeping your information

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Messages to customer service are kept for as long as needed to help you and for a reasonable period afterwards.

Security

Our site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and Shopify's checkout meets the PCI DSS standard for card payments. Access to order information is limited to people and services that need it. No online system is completely risk-free, but we take sensible steps to protect your details.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy, or object to certain uses, including advertising. Residents of California and other U.S. states with privacy laws have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising, which our Your Privacy Choices page explains. To make any request, email info@lumenwillow.com; we may need to confirm your identity first, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

International transfers

We and our providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live, including the United States and Hong Kong. Where that happens we rely on our providers' safeguards to protect it.

Children

This shop is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16; if you believe a child has given us their details, please let us know and we will delete them.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a fresh date at the top.
